Local Time is a travel series produced by Heave LLC, doing business as Search Party, a California limited liability company with a mailing address of PO Box 4039, Idyllwild, CA 92549 (“Search Party,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information in connection with localtime.asearchparty.com (the “Site”) and the services we offer through it.
What we collect
We try to collect only what we need to operate the Site and respond to people who reach out to us.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form, we collect the information you submit: your name, email address, the organization you represent, your role (optional), the stage of your project (optional), your timeframe (optional), and the message you write. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and to evaluate a potential partnership.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, our servers and analytics providers may automatically collect technical information such as your browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen size, referring URL, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit.
For abuse prevention on the contact form, we capture your IP address at the moment of submission, hash it using SHA-256 with a private salt, and store only the resulting hash. We do not store raw IP addresses with contact submissions.

How we use information
